Since 1893 Hurtigruten has linked Norway’s fjords; today its expedition arm carries the same respect for nature worldwide. Launched in 2020, MS Fridtjof Nansen is the second of the line’s battery-hybrid newbuilds, named for Norway’s Nobel-Peace-winning polar hero.

Design Description

A sleek inverted bow slices through pack ice; twin azimuth pods and an Ice-Class PC6 hull give year-round polar reach. Interiors layer oak, wool, and birch for warmth without excess, mirroring the landscapes outside.
